Bout time we stopped clogging up the Movie Thread.

Historically DC have always had the upper hand in the Cinema of Comic Books, but now Marvel have gone and revolutionized the genre.

20 films in 10 years have reintroduced characters once considered un-filmable.

DC followed suit but to mixed results.

Hoping to reverse the trend of the ailing franchise, it might not be looking so good after a string of flops.

DC: Dark Knight trilogy the best superhero films by a long shot, but it's been all downhill for them from there. Justice League among the worst films I have ever seen, Wonder Woman the only notably enjoyable film from the collection of turds they have amassed over the last few years

Marvel: Loads of formulaic, safe films that delivered varying levels of enjoyment, the Thors and Iron Mans (apart from the first one) being the worst, and Winter Soldier, Civil War and Avengers 1 and 3 being the picks of the bunch.

As DC have Batman, Superman and WW they are more like the Barca front three of a few years back. But then yes, the rest are complete pap and they are managed by Martinez just to put the boot in.

People loved the first 2, I don't mind 3 and Returns. It's just 4 and the newest ones that are gash, although the justice league films should not count. For anything. Better just to forget they were ever made.

With that warped logic 4 out of 7 isn't a bad hit rate.
