Just found these stats from our last 11 matches.

Passes played in the defensive third :

Arsenal : 167
Stoke : 141

Dynamo Kiev : 88
Newcastle : 67

Dynamo Kiev : 178
QPR : 94

Southampton : 71
Swansea : 114
Burnley : 100

Manchester United : 66
Aston Villa : 125

Green = win Red = lose Grey = draw.

I think they speak for themselves tbh.

Surely this is about as obvious as saying the more goals you score the more likely you are to win...

It suggests that the up and under agricultural brand of football seen in hunter-gatherer societies that some, including you, want to see bears less fruit than that 'modern football' that all the non-cave dwellers insist on playing.

Before villa we have won 5 out of 6 ditching the sleepy tappy football.
He has seen the error of his ways and changed the tactics and now we are all happy because we are winning and playing with pace.
