Switching Barkley and McCarthy has worked really well over the past few weeks, so I've no idea why he felt compelled to bring in Naismith.

Missed the match. But even I was a bit surprised at the change to the side after United. Even if when I saw it, it looked good enough to beat Villa.

Hey ho. Will watch the 8 minutes later, and learn nothing.

Remember when everyone was saying we won't get relegated because Leicester Burnley and Villa were already down? At the time all those bold predictions were being made Newcastle were quite a few points ahead of us. Now they are right in the battle because surprise surprise Leicester put together one of those runs that everyone said a team at the bottom was incapable of. Credit to Martinez for steering us away from it but we were far too blase about the whole thing. Martinez was idiotic for even putting us near it. This season has been a disgrace by the managers and the players and today was a slap in the face, they couldn't even be bothered to try and salvage some pride for a fan group they've abused all season. Would not care less if we got rid of him this summer and half the players as well.

I think we'd be daft to shift Bobby and start from square one. Several of our key players are young, if they develop as they should it will benefit them to have a manager who knows them well. I still think there's the making of a very good side at Everton, and I don't think there are any outstanding candidates who would likely arrive and turn us into world beaters over night.

But then again, I'd have Moyes back.

Do you not want us to win trophies?

I cannot understand why he would change a side that played so well last week?
Tinkering week in week out has lead to such a disjointed mess all season.
We FINALLY find a great setup with 4 games to go, and then change it again.
I honestly could not see our game plan today or what we where instructed to do.
It's like he picks the team based on shuffling a set of Match Attax cards.
Then tells us it was ...complete...incredible...phenomenal...moment.

That first half was abysmal, truely wretched.

Ridiculous that he waited 75 minutes to make a sub

Also equally ridiculous to change a winning team

That being said, we have had a good run recently. Doesn't make the criticism any less valid, but in his defence, we're nearing the end of the season now and the players seem to be on their holidays.

Pointless for any real hard criticism until next season

sub thing grates me more than anything else, I miss the 60th minutes triple subs
