Martinez Post Match Interviews

Could it be L4 that they pass it back because they are following instructions?

Absolutely not. It's player power gone mad, they are the first two names on the teamsheet because they share the only pen to be found at Goodison. They are unhappy, one of the rumours I heard was that they were upset that 'alpine fresh' got replaced in the urinals with 'lemon zest' and from then on it's been war.

Games are generally very cagey and tight in the prem big incidents in the game either football or referee related have a large bearing on the outcome unless the game is a complete miss match.

Turned it off at 10 seconds when he said its been an interesting season.

Honestly, get him out now.
Such a soft/rehearsed press conference as usual. I just wish 1 time someone would throw him a curve ball and get him angry, it's like watching the presidential questions at the Whitehouse.

This. We can win whilst playing crap, see QPR.

Walters and cisse sent off, we play against 10 men both times and likey draw/poss win the game. In reality we lose both.

Martinez should be going barmy on the touch line and afterwards, make the ref think about the decision

This is what gets me.

Chuck the a refereeing abortion that was City into the mix and there are three examples of how we are paying dearly for bad reffing, notwithstanding the inadequacies of our own team.

Bobby should be serving a touchline ban after going ballistic after at least one of those games.

And here's the thing.

Refs are like people in all walks of life.

They follow the path of least resistance.

That Stoke sending off incident.

You send the Stokie off and you have ten angry men in your face and a manager shouting at you from the touchline.

If you don't send him off, as you are supposed to do, you just get a shrug of the shoulder from the team which was denied a chance on goal.

Which option does Joe Bloggs the Referee take?

You betcha.

Spot on.

I like the fact that he doesn't hang out the players to dry. I like his old world courtesy and charm.

However, rather than being a contortionist with the facts, he should either say nothing about particularly poor performances or that he is going home to reflect on / rethink the situation.

@davek cracks me up. Start a thread about Martinez and your all over it.
Blaming the players, officials, fans, in fact anybody except the one guy who must take responsibility.
HaHaHa. Gotta laugh sometimes, even times as bad as this.

Thats not true. What's happening is this: a handful of people on here are determined to make the manager carry the can for every single problem we have at the moment, and on the strength of that ridiculous stance are trying to sway others to back their moronic revolt to get rid of a manager who was an enormous success in his first season but who is struggling to get the players going this season.

That's the awkward truth of the matter.

I hope we turn things round quickly and have a good run in the EL and cup. If we do I think I will have learnt more in the last 19 games about our players/management than the whole of last season. It's easy when your playing well for things to go unnoticed, but at the minute due to injuries/refereeing and bad managerial decisions the pressure on everyone concerned with the club is well and truly on.

Same with all the Martinez out brigade isn't it? Blame the boss for everything including the groundsmans haircut.
Strangely, I thought that's what forums were for...sharing opposing or like-minded views......be great if it could be done without some of the other sh1t that's creeping in.....we don't want to become Kipper II
