That is truly phenomenal. You displayed an artistic arrogance and flair that was very exciting, with patience but still an emphasis on attack. Definitely a fantastic and truly unique talent.

It's been a long while since I've done any Everton drawings (4 years since the Arteta one!) but, I've finally got around to doing a portrait of Martinez. For those who've seen my past Everton drawings, hopefully you'll see a fair amount of improvement.
It took about 10-12 hours, I hope you like it!

Wow - brilliant

Bloody hell HSD that's some talent you got there.
At times I struggle to draw breath let alone anything like that!!

(Question.... How many times did you need to sharpen the pencil?) ;o)

I noticed that as well, you just go straight into drawing his left eye without seemingly having any marker to make sure you place it right, except i suppose you use the hairline above as a guide etc. I'd usually make soft outlines first, yours is a brave style, and you have great use of shading. Beautiful work.
I do make outlines, as few as possible but I do make them - my camera isn't good at picking them up though because they have to be so light so I never film that part. I usually have a few comments telling me I'm 'cheating' because you can see the outlines, but they're just construction lines, I've still drawn them! :)
Some people say I draw strangely because I start from the eyes and pretty much finish all the layers of detail in them before moving on but, ah, I like it that way!

Hahaha! Thanks, well one of my pencils is now half the size it was when I started it!
