Who the **** does that ex Echo hack think he is? "Change it or else" ultimatum to an everton manager from a know nothing nobhead.

I think it's a good article mate, don't think it's trying to come across as an ultimatum ( don't think any hack has that power tbh ) but I thought it was a good read and a lot of it I agree with.

He's been reading this forum here hasn't he. Predictably he will be labelled a 'plotting kopite hack' or something suchlike in a short space of time.

Meanwhile a line was drawn in the sand last night with the crowd booing every sideways pass:

Change it or be off with yourself.
Last night was a return to last seasons pace of passing. How is that change?

If you want a hoofball manager you'll get a different brand of football than you watched last night second half. Roberto's way works. We'll play the mangers way, no one else's.

Did you read the last paragraph? How would you describe it?

These hacks need to know their place. They're just stooges for the clubs they report on at the end of the day....they say what they're told.

It may well have had an ulterior motive but there were a lot of truths in the article.

how can you fault that Davek?

'Martínez must produce a repeat of the final hour against Dynamo in the remaining 10 league games to restore confidence in his tenure. Otherwise, the fear will grow at Everton that it is Wigan Athletic all over again, only with better players and no excuses.'

The date was correct.

I mean what is there to say that hasn't been said already in that article? We need to break down stubborn defences at home? Yeah, cheers. Thanks for pointing that out.

It's just pandering. I see no merit in that piece whatsoever.

Last paragraph sounds like he could have been speaking to any of the 60 odd % on here who are worried mate. Nothing that he's said has wound me up. If they say what they are told then someone is telling him to write it, wonder who that would be?

At the end of the day results will determine Bobbys tenure, not what journalists write.

Isn't that all newspapers and their articles really? Hence why I don't bother with them.
