It's only the memory of our performances last season and our current sucessful Europa League that have persuaded me to vote 'no' this time.

A loss to Newcastle in our next PL game though and I will have had enough regardless of whatever happens in Europe.

I have lived through the Mike Walker days and this is becoming very reminiscent of them.

Pretty sure the most realistic situation is Martinez staying on ahead of any of those awful shouts. Go and have a lie down.

You realise where we are in the league, how many games we'v won and the disarray the team is in because of this clown No??

I'd have you as manager over this charleton!!

A draw to Newcastle at home is the same.

If we go down in a few years time we will be history. The footballing abyss awaits us lads! I feel sick at the thought of my team not being in the prem. Get him out whilst we have a chance " act before it's to late"

'Martinez, however, bases his entire belief system on the power of optimism to influence; fans, players, everyone...'

Funny thing about this quote is that this hasn't worked either. And, as per, he can't see that.

I thought (hoped) I may feel differently this morning. But I've read ALL the post match ints, and looked at the fixtures. Again. And again...

Oh, and again...

And I'm more peeved today than I was last night at the line RE that somehow you can apportion blame to the fans because we're not 'onside' at the mo. Hmmmm, well, there's a reason for that isn't there...

But I don't, I don't feel differently. Actually I feel worse.

It's time isn't it...

It must be time for him to go.

I don't give a toss about the Europa League.

The only things keeping him in a job are the obvious lack of a quality replacement and Kenwright's tightness but even that will change if we lose to Newcastle and QPR and this continues.

The best case scenario is that we somehow scrape out of the drop and then sack Martinez replacing him with someone like DeBoer.

Hopefully that might persuade those players who want away to stay.

The first cry for calling him out was during the new year so it sounds that wasn't a bad call afterall. If we fail to beat Newcastle he better resigns. I don't care about Europa if the latest excuse is tiredness. We just cannot afford to relegate from PL.

If we manage to stay up, Martinez will have another season. BK won't sack him.

Beating Newcastle doesn't change anything for me except the fact that it gives us breathing space. The issue I have is that we've been in this mess since the start of December and he's been unable to cajole the players to perform in the league, or unable to pick a system that is working. We may win the games required but it will be more by fluke than design which is of huge concern to me. My faith in him has completely gone unfortunately and I happen to think he's a top fella but I'm not willing to play Russian Roulette with our club and take a risk of being dragged in the mire. If it gets to the point where we are 3 points above the relegation zone then I would say we would be nailed on to go down because he seems unable to steady a sinking ship, a ship he has had months to fix.
