It's not only that, but will our better players want to hang around to find out if we can challenge for Europe next season? The vultures will circle Mirallas, Lukaku, baines, Seamus, & possibly McCarthy.

Let them - that lot could add up to 60 million +...but they're moving ever closer towards the cheap shelves after every one of these awful performances. However Baines won't go and is too old anyhow.
Whose to say we can't go out and build a team with the proceeds? The way I'm feeling at the moment a complete freshening up is exactly what is required. How much did Bojan cost Stoke again?

Royle with a couple of the younger guys no doubt has experience and will hopefully settle this rocking ship, not sure about Redknapp but i can see where you are coming from with that shout

Something went badly wrong in the summer IMO. Our pre-season form has been the perfect indicator for our season.
The fall out with Distin is symptomatic of some deep rooted squad disharmony it seems. We haven't often had players coming out praising Martinez and backing him to the hilt this season. Jags has been quiet as a mouse as have some of the other senior pro's.

Last night was a chance to show we are in a false position but again the arrogance of the manager kept on with what never works and the players looked like they have given up the ghost.

Pretty sure the most realistic situation is Martinez staying on ahead of any of those awful shouts. Go and have a lie down.

AND Lukaku i would love to se some video of how many chances he miss this season. Why City ,Rags,Arsenal ,Redshite did not buy him , Why Chelsea did not keep him. Hes not bad player but for 28 mill we could get somebody who would not score 1 in 5 chances.

What makes the whole thing 10 times worse is the fact it comes on the back of a fantastic season. The Lukaku signing, Eto, the young lads pushing on, our new swagger, I genuinely wished the summer away as I like many expected great things this season and that feeling just slowly crumbled away within the first 10 games

Think the first thing Martinez needs to do is find us a leader on the pitch. Jag's is supposed to be our captain, but I have never seen him give anyone a bollocking, never see him rallying the players, he just stands there after we concede with his head down and hands on his hips.
