I've come to a conclusion that theres evil forces working against us. Grinding the harmony of the team from inside.
The Axis of Evil:
Osman
Distin
Pienaar

The old guard.

Remember Wigan was at least killing the big teams and losing to ones alike...but we can do neither....

How are 3 players that have missed 2/3rds of the season to blame?
Cause they have been causing disharmony in the background all along. Eto was only the tip of the iceberg

Ofcourse I have nothing concrete to back this up but it makes sense in so many ways that it must be the Ultimate truth

Is it Osman, Distin or Pienaar picking these terribly unbalanced sides? And constantly picking players void of any form?

We aren't solid defensively anymore. We don't look like scoring in the league. He makes the same mistakes game after game. The players don't look like they want to play for him anymore. It's an entertainment business and I've never been more bored in my life.

Like him as a bloke, don't like him anymore as our manager. I'm afraid all signs point to the exit. The ability of some people to ignore all of this is astounding when we're staring at relegation. This isn't second season syndrome, it's total collapse.

After the wailing and gnashing of teeth it comes to this :
If we get relegated, and I don't think we will, Martinez will get sacked.
We don't get relegated and he stays.

It appears that a good proportion of people want him gone no matter what. Fair enough, but there's no consensus on the replacement. If somebody came in with a different playing style, how long would it take to come to fruition. Another season ? Two ? And if it didn't.Another manager, another season. More money wasted on managers and new players, more discontent.

Of course, a new manager might be a success for a season. But so was Martinez' s first season. Give him the chance over the summer for him to digest this season, and mull over his plans for the next.
He's not stupid and away from the pressures I think he'll have the nous to understand where he has gone wrong, what players need to be binned, and the need for new tactics to be introduced. I think that he's got the skills for us to be competing again in the upper echelons of the league if we give him the time.

In the long scheme of things it is only one season ; patience seems a harder option but one I think that will bring greater rewards

What evidence suggests he has the ability to improve? He didnt make Wigan a better side, yes they won a trophy but we all know how it ended.

He hasnt made us a better side, theres still a chance for Europa but are we better than last season? Clearly not.

So where is the evidence that he even has the slighest clue? Last season was a squad responding to a different manager, this season god knows.

Go to sleep Goat, it's nearly 7am.

It's not only that, but will our better players want to hang around to find out if we can challenge for Europe next season? The vultures will circle Mirallas, Lukaku, baines, Seamus, & possibly McCarthy.

The clown still in charge,I was hoping to switch to sky sports news and see some breaking news this morning, nevermind we go again.

Up to last. Nght I agreed with all of this .. Not anymore - need somebody new in charge to pick the players up and get them playing again . Far to much quality in our team to justify these performances and the blame has to lie with Roberto .. Nice man and I like him but Iove Everton and really think for the first time we will go down if this continues and I don't see us winning anymore ... Scary times need action before its to late
