He started on a clean slate and got us going good, his problem is when thing go bad which they didn't last season they go very bad and he hasn't a clue what to do.Moyes did know and got us going again there's no sign of that. His managing ability is bottom half of the prem and top of the championship that's his level,do you want that,I don't.Is that the best squad last season he took to a record points total and 5th in the league? That one?
Oh yeah, he defo cant 'get us anywhere' with them.
He's spot on there, btw...about the games we have: 6 at home. Hadn't realised that.Apparently we didn't deserve to lose last night and the players didnt deserve the bad feelings of losing http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...berto-martinez-labels-defeats-arsenal-8783012
So last season should be ignored and just focus on this season? Sounds fair.He started on a clean slate and got us going good, his problem is when thing go bad which they didn't last season they go very bad and he hasn't a clue what to do.Moyes did know and got us going again there's no sign of that. His managing ability is bottom half of the prem and top of the championship that's his level,do you want that,I don't.
“They don’t deserve that,” Martinez said.
“It is incredible when football is not going to give you anything back.
“When you look at the performances against Arsenal and Stoke, to have those scorelines is heartbreaking."
Let him go David, think of his family.
Roberto comes roaring back next few games.
That's the moment I'll be laughing.
You were saying that when we were beating Man Utd twice last season though, so your words mean nothing...Should have made him walk back from Stoke to contemplate his sh!t tactics

Fairs nothing to do with it,I think he seems like a really nice bloke but he just isn't good enough,he spent around 40 odd million and has failed miserably,if your happy with him that's your choice.I just think he's out of his depth and can't deal with it when things are bad,at a lot of teams he would be gone al ready. So last season should be ignored and just focus on this season? Sounds fair.

I think some of that's true, but also that he needs the right players in to do it. This is a personnel issue more than anything else. There are key positions that need filling and have been since the summer. Those gaps plugged and we can take off again. Both do, therein lies the problem. We saw the best of his methods last season and havn't this season.
OK, this season has been poor for all sorts of reasons, but it's a hell of a drop in standards.
I think he can turn it round, but only if he admits his mistakes to himself. I don't expect him to come out in public and say it's been dog-shoite, that's not in his nature, but he needs to learn from this season. We're not a club who can afford to go out and buy five or six players who have the technical ability to play in the way he's trying to at the moment, so, mostly, he has to coach and manage with the level of players we've already got.
He's a manager, like any manager he has to find the way to get the best out of his people. At the moment, he ain't doing that, and people can say the players aren't working for him and all the rest of it, but, again, it's his job to make sure they're 100% with him
