At £12.5m it's good business if true. Can't really complain as he's in his prime and is coming off a good season.

It looks like we're injecting some serious snide into our squad which has been needed for a while.

Depends where he's deployed. Either flank he's behind Mirallas and Geri for me by a distance but is better than Kone and the abomination from Russia.

This time last season we were all gutted we never got Shaqiri - who performed worse than Arnautovic in the same team since then.

But we don't want Marko at the same price as a Jordon Ibe in this market??

That's not me. I am in South Wales - the mods will be able to confirm this from my IP. They will also be able to check my weekend postings as I was using a Hotel's wifi in Newquay. I have never visited Australia in my life.

It's quite odd that you spend your spare time e-stalking me but alas you have found the wrong guy this time. My username is never the same on more than one website.

Seems like a sometimes starter and helpful for cup runs. Fills a hole the team has left unfilled for 2-3 years. Price is good. Not seeing a problem here.

I'd very happy to sign Marko Arnautovic, he's a different type of winger than anything we've got. It's important to have all different types of player within your squad. On the modern day market 12.5m is a really good price, he was probably Stoke's best player last season, a team that finished above us last season. A couple of years ago under Kenwright a player worth 12.5m we would want to be a star of team, start every week and one day be worth double that sum. We now have plenty of money and are in the most inflated transfer market ever.

If the rumours are true we're getting a player who's entering their peak, has plenty of experience, coming off a really good season and is rated very highly by Stoke. Will improve our squad no doubt and give us something different that we don't currently have.
