He was another young youth player who we let go he had off the field problems, diciplined too many times - the first I heard about him when I lived in cheshire in the 1980's & a Northwich Victoria fan was raving about this winger called Mark Ward - they won the FA Trophy in his era, he was their star player. West Ham paid a good fee for him, & as usual we bought him back like so many other players we have let go from our youth development teams in the past. e.g Baines , Jags etc!
