Would love this to bite Watford up the Jacksy and for the investigation to find that they were the ones who had done some tapping up against Hull. There was a rumour a little while back that Everton had evidence of such a thing but might be bollox.

Everton claim to have evidence that Watford sent Silva a draft contract to become their manager when he was still working for Hull, which, if proven, could be a breach of Premier League rules. Watford contend that there was a release clause in Silva’s contract at Hull allowing him to speak to other clubs following their relegation to the Championship last season so are confident of their position.

Absence of a complaint from Hull is kind of key with that, mind.

Everton that. Im baffled by how this has gotten so far along. They rejected multiple ‘bids’ from us for their manager ‘at the time’ and then they sacked him. We’ve done nothing wrong employing an out of work Manager, weird how the FA/Premier League are taking Watfords claims so seriously when its a load of shabite.
