Top manager? You are getting carried away mate. He can’t even bring the best out of the team in a consistent basis. I know we win Chelsea today but please, top manager is just embarrassing.

Some of our fans make themselves look like kopites at times.

If we lose

"Its der players fault"

If we win

"Dat Silva is world class ee just needs better players"

Sarri saying that was Chelsea's best first half of the season.

The fact they didn't build on it second half is a credit to Silva.

He knows how to mix it with top coaches.

The sooner we get top players back in this club the better, because this feller will know how to use them.
since when has sari been a top coach. the blokes won zero.

just cos Chelsea hired him for being flavour of the month doesn't make you a top coach

If we hadnt had player errors in the last game wed be 8th with this dreadful squad which hes rebuilding.

Hes going to be a top top manager.

I'm just glad we got that horror run against the top 6 off our backs. 26 games or something. Thank goodness.

We played really well second half. Yes these aren't a top team but they just won a European knockout tie about 8 nil on aggregate. They aren't awful.

I agree Tim, but today’s happiness is always clouded by a Newcastle collapse or a Spurs hiding. Arsenal will be a good barometer

Selective memories. I remember an awful lot of poor game this season. Tone it down mate, repeatedly saying he’s a top manager does not mean he is one.

Its for the wages Dave, we have limits.

The issue we have is that even if we offer some players for peanuts they wont get a move as their wages are so high.

Bolasie, Walcott, Schneiderlin to name but 3 are all on circa £100k a week. Other clubs would have to amend their wage structure.

Also even if we pay a % of the wages to enable teams to take them on e.g Anderlecht for Bolasie, Southampton for Walcott and Marseille for Schneiderlin we then dont see much of a reduction off our books for wages.

It actually makes sense in some cases to just loan them out as its preferable accounting wise to cover the new rules on budgets.

The Moshiri quotes about spending big on transfers but lower wages make perfect sense.
They are atypical though. There others on much less and he couldn't shift them: top of my head - Besic and Lookman.
