Agreed, plus Silva IS being linked with the Benfica job. Although his agent said back in March he would not be going back to Portugal, probably because he knew he would be taking over at Everton!!

Has Fonseca been linked with top jobs, only link I have seen of late is with him staying at Shaktar or going to West Ham?

Arteta is favorite for the Arsenal job, I would definitely take a risk on Mikel!

Their reputations have gone in two different directions. You aren't seeing Silva's name linked to some of the top jobs but you do see Fonseca's. I wonder why?

Yeah the PSG stint has tarnished his rep a bit, having everything at his disposal and not delivering (well I mean the CL)
Interesting couple of weeks coming up as all clubs seeking a new manager will want it done before the world cup starts.

Either way next season WILL be better than this one..
 
Whoever we get as manager this time, we have to be patient! I would settle for a couple of seasons of finishing around where we are now if it means the manager can build a squad full of players to play his style and for it to start coming good! Like spurs have done with Pochettino! There is no short term fix with our current squad and us fans have to support the manager and players. We are getting rid of BFS for goodness sake, if thats not cause for optimism then what is!!

What if the new man is told it’s 10 m a year , 100 m to spend plus whatever you can get for at least 18 of our first team squad.
Has to be another 100 m there

We are 4/5 players from a decent well balanced squad nd it’s no Europe could have a decent tilt at top 6 with no Europe to worry about
