Anyone on GOT that thinks we can attract Simeone, Conte, Emery etc. needs to wake up and move their calendar from the 80’s to present day.

I love Everton but we are not a big job at the minute.
Money talks.

Look at Man City before and after the money or Chelsea.

Give a manager a big enough wage and a big enough budget and they will come running.

It's what should of been done before the Koeman/Walsh fiasco. It's what should be done now unless the money has ran out

Your wrong mate he was there 9 months. when we approached they were competing for CL. They lost 10 games after approach. Are we really blaming him for our approach and the impact it had on Watford.

Being in the CL spots in November doesn't mean that's where they'll finish, look at Burnley.

The fact that his head got turned so quickly into his new job HAS to be a concern, there's every chance he would do the same to us.

Yes I am definitely blaming him for being unprofessional and not accepting that he was under contract while letting his team completely capitulate because he'd shown them his heart wasn't in it and he wasn't there for the long term.

Managers like that will strangely enough be going to the biggest teams that offer the biggest wages with the biggest budgets. We’re not that rich.

..Everton is a big job. I think we underestimate the draw of the Premiership, and in terms of this league Everton will still be seen as a big job. The support is a big factor. Saying that, if we are competing for a Manager with clubs who regularly get to the knock-out stages of the Champions League we are likely to be down the pecking order.

When City had money they got Eriksen and Mark Hughes before getting Mancini

Not even Pep would have succeeded at Hull mate let’s stop using that as a stick to beat him with.
That Hull job will be the best thing he's ever done.

As comments like yours have proven he literally couldn't lose with that job due to the readymade excuses it came with.

"Oh well they never had the players"

"Look how close they did come though"

None of that impresses me one bit. If he had kept them up it would be different, but he didn't so it isn't.

That was my point. If we were rivalling West Ham, Bournemouth and Marine for Conte then sure, but we won’t be.
