Whoever is managing the team and getting paid to do so is in charge of the players, you can’t pick and choose what part of a managers job you want.
If the players are acting like cowards it’s the managers job to sort it out by whatever means necessary.

We are falling. Make no mistake about it. We have put a chancer in the managers seat and we have gone from the 1 club who could get into that little group at the top to being no better than your west hams and leicesters of this world. And even worse we are paying out prices for players those clubs dont and yet we are no better.
Its gone pear shaped. Not just silva. Koeman before him. Those two have done some serious damage. It started with koeman. Not martinez. He was better than both of those.
