Let's close this one until Thursday. I don't want to sprout crap at Marco and co yet wish for us to bend over on Wednesday.

Chalk this one off the list.

He has to go even if he wins the Derby, however if he does I think we can all look back on him with a positive memory of him, stop them and it is a big deal that will not be forgot for a long time.
It's like when Martinez got to the FA Cup semi-final. We all wanted him sacked, even if he managed to get us further.

My uncle is a die hard red. And he absolutely despises us.

However. This is a snippet from our texts we were having about the city game and how he thinks we will roll over....

‘That’s a gimme ..... no matter the manager the fans don’t want Liverpool to win the league .... so they can’t get on the manager in Wednesday, what I will say is, I personally think he isn’t good enough for a big club, and it hurts me to say it but you are !!! Get rid x’

To be fair. A few of my other mates have said he can’t be given another season - I’m just hoping we have an upturn in form because I really don’t want another sacking.

I fully understand people losing patience with him, it’s grim at present. I still believe he is capable of far better and hope the board show resolve and continue to back their appointment.
However if it is decided to terminate his contract I hope to god we wait until the conclusion of the season. Sacking a manager mid season severely limits your available options as we saw last time round. I do not want another interim appointment and I certainly don’t want to see the inept and utterly out of his depth Unsworth back in charge.

Did you miss Wolves comings and schooling us at home on the weekend to move 5 points clear of us in 7th?

The only way we’re not finishing bottom half this season, is if we sack Silva.
I saw it.
I also would presume Wolves won't win every game until the end of the season.

And who are you so sure from the 11 below us is any better than we are? Leicester? WH?

Come on mate. This hysterical outlook is just not reality.

All our last few managers have had PL experience and been utter tosh.

I really don't think it's essential. In fact I'd rather try something different. Someone who can unite the fans and will be extremely hungry to succeed. And feel privileged to be our manager. Not like Koeman who acted like we were so lucky to have him and that we were beneath him.

Arteta.
Agreed. Tired of having managers who just don’t get us & who don’t feel like it’s a privilege to manage us.

Stat i read and heard today frightens me. With hull watford and now us the amount of goals his sides have let in from set peices is staggering.
If the penny hasnt dropped now will it ever.

I'm sorry, but I just don't understand this way of thinking. I get it, his team haven't been great a set piece defending. He's tied for the worst in the league this year. But what about the massive improvement from last year in terms of open play. That's a LOT more important.

I just don't understand some of the opinions on here. A team without Digne, Gana, and Bernard is going to get beat by any decent team. That result shouldn't have been that surprising.
