Journo asking Marco Silva is there's a lack of leadership in his squad.
Also asking if his players just dont listen to him with regards to zonal.
Good question.

I'd rather they ask him meaningful questions like why does he persist with a system that has failed the last three Everton managers...
And Keane was the one linked with going back to United and finally bought by us. Yes he's crap now, but he was bought on the back of having a great season as part of a settled defence.James Tarkowski was the key part to the Burnley back line then, not Keane, hence why recently with their injuries the RS have been linked with him because he is a decent player and a leader.
Probably comfortably about 150m of talent bought for nearly 300m tbh.
I have no idea how you can come up with such a ridiculous valuation for our squad.
Don't you ever wonder why they did'nt buy him though? i mean Utd are not exactly the best at the back and they decided to swerve him.And Keane was the one linked with going back to United and finally bought by us. Tarkowski barely played when Keane was there. I believe you are mistaken.James Tarkowski was the key part to the Burnley back line then, not Keane, hence why recently with their injuries the RS have been linked with him because he is a decent player and a leader.
In fairness mate I think they were organised but the issue is desire. I saw Carragher make this point, that there's not anywhere near enough aggression from Everton's defenders on set pieces.
The question for me is how do you get that across to the players and why is it not currently happening? It doesn't bode well for Silva whichever answer you arrive at and in truth hints at him not having much respect behind the scenes.
Confusing him with Ben MeeTarkowski barely played when Keane was there. I believe you are mistaken.

Zouma isn’t a big prospect for Chelsea, he’s been there 5 years and they’re still loaning him out to guff teams. Your justifications for Keane, Tosun and Sigurdsson are utter nonsense too by the way.
So you're denying that most people considered Sigurdsson a set piece specialist? Isn't that not why every commentator, every time we get a free kick (even though he's rubbish at them nowadays) comes up with something like "this is Sigurdsson territory..". He was absolutely deemed one of the best takers in the division.
Tosun - again, absolutely deemed one of the best strikers in Turkey.
Keane - bought on the back of an outstanding season for Burnley.
You're letting your feelings about them now change history and the fact they were all big exciting signings at the time.
I can maybe agree on Zouma.
Cringing at the focus of zonal marking in this press conference. I understand it, it's needed but how bad is it when a manager is drilled so much on something as basic as setting up to defend a set play.

We don't have a good squad, we have a big squad.
We have far too many players with ability and no drive, or plenty of drive and no ability.
That's not to say this squad should be 11th, or should be losing to Millwall, but it is not a 'very good' squad. It's a beefy, bloated, bang average squad as is proved when we try to rotate.
Watford made 11 changes the other day - 11. When we make one change in midfield we fall apart.
Silva's tactics and decisions lately have been poor. But let's not pretend this squad isn't just as inconsistent and iffy as the teams we're currently in the middle with.
Maybe you were excited about them, but none of these guys were unanimously even liked. Myself amongst others didn’t think Keane was anything special, other than being fast for a big guy. Tosun was a striker for under 30M first of all. Second of all, several here mentioned that he wasn’t athletic enough to succeed in the PL. Richarlison is a big signing. Sigurdsson a big signing. So you're denying that most people considered Sigurdsson a set piece specialist? The journalists wouldn't be doing their job properly if they didn't raise the set play defending with Silva.
I don't care what method we choose. But we need to do it much better and look organised. The organisation rests with Silva and it's dreadful. I have no faith in his defensive capabilities.
