Read his comments about Gana which kinda confirms he's wanting him to link defence and attack and why you see him more involved in an attacking sense.

I like him but that shouldn't be his job imo.
As you said Gana is not suited to that role and I think he may be replaced by a player of Silvas / Brands choice who can fill that role
More of a Matic / Fernandinho/Jorghino type of player

Being honest mate....I’m genuinely not that arsed about the results right now.

The performance is far more important for me. I want to see us go to the sky 6 trying to win, playing positive, expansive, attacking football and giving it a go.

We may lose games along the way but if we keep playing like we did at Arsenal whilst adding a few more quality players such as Bernard, Mina and Gomez along with a bit of fine tuning then we’ll be very competitive.

I’d rather lose playing in that manner right now than gain a point like we did at Anfield last year. Humiliating ourselves in the process by making no effort to win the game at all and basically seeing it out through good luck.

I agree with 90% of this but the way we played against them last year is how you have to play against them. If Real Madrid can do it in a European Cup final, we should have no problems doing the same sort of thing.

he a total gamble, his prem record shows that. our early form also suggest's hes a gamble.

There is no manager in the world right now who we could attract, who is not to some extent, a gamble.

Even Mourinho was a gamble for United that looks like it has backfired.

Get behind this guy for at least the first half of the season and stop this fetish for constant sackings that is gripping the fan base.

Still incandescent about him fielding a second choice side against Soton when it's a competition we could have excelled in with our best players playing. Pathetic decision by a manager paid millions to win us trophies.

First serious mistake as the bossman playing a weak side v saints. There is a 2 week break coming up!! Players are not in europe. Why didnt he play his strongest team. Crazy. Needs to get results now esp at home. A point away today wouldnt be the worst.

Weak? That XI should have had more than enough to beat Southampton.
Doesn't matter. He selected players who gave proven time and again they're not up to the job and had fit players ready and available to play. Unacceptable. I'd be giving him a first written warning for that if I was his boss.
