Same here. Been struggling to get excited about us for a long time.

Mid-table is fine for the owners: as long as the Prem TV money keeps coming in, and the fans keep selling out Goodison, all is well. The rest is just nothing will be the same marketing guff.

Same for me.

I spent today shopping for a Keyboard for my son. He is made up with it. He has no interest in soccer.

I got back in to find us 2 goals down. I would usually act angry but that fire has gone out these past few years. Haven't been a 1st team game in 5 years after hardly missing a match. Rarely watch on tv either.

I think someone else on here put it aptly with 'battleworn'. I am too worn out to scream at millionaires who don't care. It's been too long without success, years of mismanagement. Also seeing those gob#$%&*s across the park constantly come up smelling of roses just makes me sick.

Promises of new stadia and a team to be proud of, yet same old, same old.

If we hadn’t started the first 25 a goal down, I’m almost positive the outcome would have been the opposite. This team is so mentally weak that it hurts my head. The second we go a goal down, productivity goes out of the window. Passes go sideways. Pickfords pass the ball to a ghost. It’s been this way for too long.

Can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear though and the harsh brutal truth is Baines Jagielka Coleman Kenny Keane are not good enough.

Allardyce got a lot more out of a lot worse defence.

and no id do not want that bisto swilling tit back here..

I want a progressive manager who knows that you will get absolutely nowhere in this league without defensive organisation.

Allardyce was very lucky. The number of times we should have lost or drawn and got away with it. However this guy's tactics are kamikaze.

The players played for Allardyce whenever relegation threatened. As soon as he came in and their futures were under threat in the Jan window they upped their game and easily put away other teams. As soon as we were safe and the window was shut they just slacked off and plunged us back into the mire at which point they played up to see of Leicester Brighton Huddersfield an then pretty much just packed it in again for the summer. I had hoped that Silva’s signings may drag a few up with them. Sadly it looks like only Walcott could ply with them.

I get how someone can question his ability as a manager. If you can’t buy a win against Huddersfield and West Ham at home questions need to be asked.

At this rate we’re looking at 7-8 wins in a season. Shocking.

Utterly ridiculous blaming Silva. 2 poor results with half our starting 11 injured, unfit or suspended. 2 of the goals came from individual mistakes from Pickford and Holgate. We had all the possession and so many chances that we couldn't finish. West Ham barely created any clear cut chances apart from the goals. As ever our fans look for a scapegoat when things don't go well.

Give him time. Hurling abuse at the manager is only going to make it worse, Goodison is toxic enough as it is.

how is it ridiculous blaming the MANAGER for consecutive, shambolic performance's against some of the leagues worst teams...

Sorry, 5th was the FIFA Shortlisted Best Manager's 'trophy'....

Your choices of Koeman and Alardyce says it all about you.

11th and 13th just disappear from your memory. It does not exist? If people accept mid table no wonder having Martínez forever is ok.

Silva must rectify this defence if he knows to.
