Yes could sign players for those positions at the drop of a hat if not worried about quality or how much.

Completely agree but surely the responsibility for that is Brands. Forget a striker we needed in order of priority: 2 centre backs, central midfielder, left back. We’ve got one so far.

It shows how poor this window has been when everyone has their own positions they believe we need filling urgently first. Now that LB is sorted I find it hard creating a hierarchy of what is most urgent. Obvious most see CB as THE position to be addressed. I fear though that we have no one to lead the line again for another season. Tosun wont do that and neither will DCL. We are going to be gummy upfront is my fear.

Every successful team is built from the back, that’s the priority. That back four last season used to give me sleepless nights! If we play decent attacking football then Tosun, Niasse, DCL and Walcott will score enough goals.
