i don’t see many with that dedication & the game is much more global now, it’s difficult for a Manager to be a brilliant coach and excellent in the transfer market. I think that type will be few and far between. Ancelotti said he’d never heard of Doucoure.

Benitez doesn’t even watch the U23s, I think you’re more likely to find him in Caldy Chippy on a Monday night.

There's no chippy in Caldy, there is though the Church of the Resurrection where he's occasionally seen banging on the door and screaming to be let in.

The only reason he sacked Brands and not Benitez was the fact that he doesn’t have to replace Brands, but he would need a replacement for Benitez.

I think he’s just bought himself a little time. Benitez card has been marked - just a matter of when Moshiri decides to pull the trigger.

You make it sound so easy, in the case of our Iranian overlord, I wonder how he managed to make the billions initially. He hasn't shown much business acumen here.
