Because one had little to no injury history before coming here and has worked hard to try and get himself back, the other did and has shown no such fight
What evidence do you have of him working hard to try and get himself back?

When did he last engage with the club’s official channels to let us know how his recovery is going, etc? He’s been seen for the first time in 18 months only the other day.

I don't think he's done an amazing job, but he's not done a bad one.

In my opinion he inherited an absolute bombsite and has considerably improved the situation. He could have improved us even more and to be fair, has been given money to do it, but I'm personally more than happy for him to continue.

I think he's been relatively unlucky with a few players, such as Gbamin and Delph, who were players that would have considerably eased our problems in midfield had they not broken down. Kean was a gamble worth taking, but cost us enormously.

I've been very sceptical on our squad quality even in the good times this season, but I think we're closer to being a very good team/squad than people realise. I think we're also closer to having a healthier wage bill and deadwood situation than people realise. One good summer window and I think we could be in a very, very good place.

Now is not the time to get rid for me, but we are definitely approaching the point where he either has to deliver something very significant in the short term or go.

I think the foundations are all there though. I know others don't feel the same way, but I am not overly worried at this point.

He was posting work out videos on social media. What’s Delph done to do the same thing?

Agree with this.
We are probable a right winger and a right forward short of a top four finish this year.
There are other issues I know, but we’re not miles off a competitive squad.
Keeping everyone fit would be a start.

Ball carrying midfielder with pace is a must have this Summer, one of those unknown young continental talents that Brands is a specialist at finding.

It would be nice if just once we could go a season with a settled side that doesn't get decimated by injuries at some point.

It's why injury record and minutes played would be some of the more important criteria I'd look at in every signing this summer. We've used our James quota now.

We need players we can flog. It's one of the reasons I'd like Aarons for right back. We probably won't get two right backs in one window, so we need someone we can flog remorselessly for 40 90s a season and get away with it.
