What is this guys job exactly? Is he in charge of the footballing side of things or not? He sits on the board and surely can't be happy with on pitch activities. So he is either ineffective at exerting his influence at board level or he is supportive of the dreadful nonsense that is occurring on the training pitch and in the first team. In either case, he is failing this football club. Silva and Brands are to blame for this farce. Not one or the other in isolation.

What power does he have as the so-called "Director of Football"? With other clubs you know what the score is. Our corporate institution keeps every single process locked tight. It's worth noting here that Silva evidently wasn't Brands' appointment considering he had been tapped up for over 6 months. A massive bobo on Moshiri's part and indicative of the fact that he isn't sure what a real DoF actually is. Hint: A DoF isn't some magical player-finder that helps you do a Leicester. They literally control everything regarding footballing matters, from the players to the staff to the academy. From what I've seen, he does not have the level of power he probably should have in these areas.
