Just read a piece by Kone on how he wants to stay and fight for a place on the team. His confidence is high after this two goals on Tuesday. You wonder what goes through players minds, the manager is out trying to buy a player in your position and you can't see the writing on the wall.
 

Just got a call from a friend at the club. He said this one's dead. Apparently Southampton swooped in at the last second to hijack it -- Manolo's always dreamed of playing in the Europa League and we just can't compete with that.

We've reached out to the Seattle Sounders to inquire about Clint Dempsey. USA! USA!
 
As a Napoli lover I dont rate him much, he hasnt got going since he signed in honesty , maybe just hasnt worked out and a change of scenery will do him good but I would be surprised.
He reminds me of a poor mans Van Nistelrooy that doesnt score.
Hope we dont sign him to be quite frank.

It seems Gabbiadini's Agent has arrived in Merseyside to discuss deal, and same source that broke our deal for Perez is saying we are close to a deal for Brahimi at around 25-30m Euros...now let's go scupper the gooners deal and offer more for Mustafi..

Thanks BP you've just ruined it for me now and I've just wasted another 4 minutes watching a YouTube video as well.

He'll want more than two strikers in his squad and with Niasse frozen out, Kone has every chance of staying at the club even with a new face coming in. I actually think Koeman could do a 'shane long' on him. There's a player in there somewhere!

Did well on loan at fiorentina though mate, maybe needs more than a few mins here and there spelling higuain, some players -especially strikers need a run of games to find form.

Strike rate per minute was basically a goal every 110 played for napoli mind which is bloody decent.

I've decided I want him and he's the only one I ever wanted based on his video and Perez video.
 
shouts for Clint Dempsey been heard. OK, yes he'd be a marquee signing but I do not consider him to be 'all that'. No fee was mentioned but you'd imagine it to be in the 25-30mio ballpark...imo think we can get better for that.
