It was always going to be trying to stop them scoring, once they did it was game over. We could play 500 minutes of footy and we still wouldn’t score.

Pretty much what was expected. No issue with effort or commitment. Not a bad showing by any means. But a lack of intent to counter attack and zero quality in attack.

That was a frustrating watch.

Can’t really fault their effort defensively, but by the time we were a goal down we were either dead on our feet, or not interested in trying to search for a goal.

No urgency in anything we did. Lazy passes all over the place, which eventually led to their second goal.

Need to kick on next week. Palace without 3 of their best players and we’ll hopefully have Doucoure and Onana back in the starting 11. Hoping Hodgson is still in charge so there’s no new manager bounce for them!!

2nd goal was a really bad turnover, poor passing from Harrison into Coleman's heels. Gueye sloppy on the recovery. Good defensive performance otherwise, not sure what we could do otherwise. Winnable games coming up at least.

Why did he replace DCL when we needed an equaliser ? McNeil hardly in the game .....

He should bring in all the substitutes after 45 mins, not in the 80th or 90th minute, that makes no sense, Klopp at Liverpool has the right idea in that respect.
