Manager of the year

Given that I told my lad to back Rodgers @ 7/1 a few weeks back hope to collect £140 profit. Of course a major implosion will be just fine- still think he will win it.

Last 5 years Liverpool have a net loss of 114 million (Euros) in transfers as far as I can see. That puts them 3rd in spending behind City and Chelsea. So challenging for the title isn't a huge achievement, it's something that they should have been doing every season just failing at.

edit to add euros, was on that funky european version of the site.

further edit.... in the same time we're 40 million euros in the green. Relative achievements?

Begrudgingly have to say Brenda , he has got them scoring for 'kn fun . Don't like it but credit (cough) where it is due . I don't think they win the league , that would be ManCity ..........

Without the horse face they wouldn't be in the title race. Speaking to a few kopite mates they think real madrid are gonna come a knocking and he'll be gone in the summer

Rodgers followed by Martinez.

If it is anything other than this it is a fix.

Wot?? No Holloway??

Rogers has done a decent job for them. Depends what it is actually awarded for. I have a lot of empathy for the support for Martinez after job that he has done for you. Transformed your style of play and confounded all the pundits (and there were plenty who said you would implode.)Not spent a fortune either, which seems to be routinely ignored in these things.
Pulis has also transformed our style of play (lol). good job too, as our previous style appeared to centre on the "How many would you like to score today?" concept. If it's awarded for making silk purses of sows ears then Pulis not only deserves the piggery, he should get the whole farm.
Good shout for Bruce as well, particularly if Hull make the Cup Final and stay up.

no contest this year.....Rodgers will get it....and Suarez will get the Player of the year award.....

thanks to the media hype, Barkley might get Young player, although it should be Hazard...

only thing that might be a factor, is when does the voting take place?....i heard before it was in February....so if thats the case Wenger still has a chance of winning Manager of the year....
