Manager of the year

Its got to be between Brenda and Bobby

Brenda - taken a 7th placed side to serious title contenders, scoring a shed load in the process. But has spent quite a fair bit of money.

Bobby - has completely changed the entire ethics of a team, implemented a new way of playing and made them serious contenders for a CL spot. With a negative net spend.

My heart says Bobby, my head say Brenda simply because of the goals and the media hype surrounding the RS

Rodgers has done a much more impressive job this season than Martinez. I know local rivalry makes us downplay it, but it's a step above what Martinez has done.

The difference is that this is Rodgers second year in charge and Martinez' first. Hopefully Bobby can do something of that level of improvement, next year once he's settled in.

It'll be Brent if the worst comes to the worst.

But if it doesn't and we manage to get the final CL place then Bobby is your only man.

It's gonna be Brendan Rodgers, took a 7th placed team to title contention.

It shouldn't be because he's conceded about 40 goals and without that strike force is limited.

But consideration should be given to how big a wallet clubs have. Rodgers is one of the biggest.
Just makes the acheivements that little bit easier.

Heres hoping.

Mind, 7th to 3rd is still more impressive than 6th to 4th.

Possibly but due to the nature of the cult (sic) and the media obsession with everything associated with that club they have a divine right to be at the top of the league, we're plucky little Everton punching above our weight against the monied elite.

But I'm not bitter!

Fair one.

No english team will win a european trophy so the only trophies won will be Pellegrini winning the league cup with the most expensive squad ever assembled in england and whoever wins the league and the fa cup.

If Wigan, Hull or Sheffield United win the Fa cup, their manager deserves manager of the year. If Liverpool win the league, their manager does.

But if it's just a double for Man City and an fa cup for Wenger then that's not as impressive as 7th and 6th finishing in the CL places. Rodgers finishes in the top 3 and, as long as arsenal win the cup, he probably deserves it.

Not that I really care much who gets it. But he's done a really good job this year, with them.
