In comparison to the shambles that was Thursday vs Atalanta, they seemed to play with more pride.

I wasn't suggesting that all was rosy, but to me at least there was some sign of improvement... think RoKo got his changes wrong, I'd have taken Schneiderlin off, not Davies... struggling to see exactly what role Schneiderlin is primarily used for ?

Takes more than a decent 70 minutes to convince me we are improving mate tbh, especially given we started and ended the match as woeful as Thursdays game.

The subs all baffled really, a case of bringing on in theory more attacking changes when Davies and Rooney where both the most effective going forward for us. Sigurdsson and schneiderlin both stayed in whilst playing at best average to be kind.

was in the pub watching the gaa all ireland final so only seen last 10 minutes and we were brutal during that. heard we played better and didnt deserve to lose so heavily but at the end of the day you cant lose 4-0 and restore pride. big couple of weeks ahead.

Don't ever remember coming out of a ground after losing 4-0 thinking we didn't play that badly and that we was good for a point today. Soft goals at the end. Next week against Bournemouth is a massive match now. Take a battling 1-0 win with a bit of fight

...well done to you and others who continue to provide brilliant support for the Blues on their travels. I think your assessment is about right.

Got speaking to a couple of united boys on the way out, said it's the best they played all season. To be honest I don't remember Pickford doing very much till the last 10 min, although all he did then was pick the ball out of the net a few times!!!

...I think they missed Pogba if I'm honest. We have good footballers but still lack tempo and ingenuity in the top third of the pitch.

Maybe a touch of pride from RonKo. Doesn't want to be seen subbing both his record signing and Schneids who he publicly attacked the board over.

Totally agree. Not watched the match back but think we looked comfortable in midfield today just a shame about when we get it the final 3rd it's like a big void with nobody there. Just hope our season starts properly next week now

Massive improvement for me. Alas that is t hard but still we closed down better and kept the ball more. We even created a couple of chances. We ve played a lot worse here and come away with a draw..shinned worldy...williams gift..never a pen and 2 deflections for the disrespectful ones goal. Tad unlu cky there methinks. Hard to take positives from a 4 nil but i m going to. I m an Evertonian so i ve got no choice !

Came out of there relatively happy in terms of performance except for Gylfi and Baines' total lack of contribution, he really looks bewildered most of the time.
Couldn't understand why Tom Davies was substituted, and why is it when I say "Hello @Woolly Blue" he totally ignores me.

Cheers Andy.

Oh, this is awkward.

Soz mate, I'm in a little world of my own sometimes, it's a nice enough world though.
