this, our first attack in anger and we ripped through them with a guy who's never scored in his career. they've played well tbf, but we've been woeful in attack, eto'o will ignite something when he comes on, just got to hope we're still in the game.

martinez is a positive feller, you know if it was someone like wenger he'd walk into the dressing room felling sorry for himself and keep the team's confidence low - this should be a kick up the arse we need.

the thing about his more recent pens is that they've all been a bit too nonchalant. He doesnt make the corner but the keeper guesses the wrong way, which means he slots it. If the keeper had gone the right way for any of his pat 5 pens or so he would of saved them.

Our one decent bit of forward play and surprise, surprise, we cut through Utd's crap defence. Poor penno from Baines, but it happens not gonna hold it against him.

Gotta get on the ball more and look to get in between lines, maybe give Pienaar 10-15 mins to see if he can sort himself out, and if not get any of Eto'o, Osman or Oviedo on in his place. Hibbo's been fine but get Browning on at the first sign of tired legs.
