Why did we resort to the formation that made us look so inept at anfield? Half hour to go..why go so negative? Valencia should have come on to stretch them...their centre backs were all over the place when we ran at them. You've failed us against the big clubs ronnie, like so many before you.

Koeman out!

That was really curious to me. He must see something in training with those players that we don't...Either way, not gonna see that formation again for the next 2 matches you'd imagine.

DCL is not ready hopefully koeman take that on board, wrong substitution in my opinion.

when counter attacking, the amount of times players just stopped or paused instead of being direct led to to many safe forward balls. was really poor that. Lukaku, Williams seemed to be at odds :/

Yes I know it's hindsight but I think Koeman got the subs all wrong. I could understand them but it was wrong. We were still in with a shout of getting another with Mirallas and Barkley but once they went off it mean't no outlet. I don't understand the Koeman love in with DCL because he looks so average and thought Lookman would have been an ideal sub to aid any counters. We allowed cross after cross but the CB's, Barry and Robles were excellent. Guaye played well but I was hoping Davies would get hooked. I didn't see anything from Davies the whole match and think he needs a break. Holgate was a different player today after the mare on Saturday. We got a point but it feels like a defeat. Barkley and Mirallas could of got us something from that or at least relieved the pressure a little. Felt there was no need to drop off so much and invite them on so much.

Williams and Jags were utterly immense, then Williams has a brain fart. Holgate had a great game. Davies looks knackered and should have went on instead of Kev who was well up for it. Think the DCL sub was a wrong'un. Ross and Rom on different wavelengths. That performance was light years ahead of the shambles at the weekend. Worrying to see some infighting between the players though - Williams roaring at Rom, Rom moaning about Williams at the end, Ross roaring at Holgate at the weekend. Get it together lads.

Bloody tv devote 90% of time to analysing why Utd didn't win.
Even Ferdinand said we should have scored another two but for bad decision making on the break
Why do we sit back in last 20 mins?

The biggest disappointment for me is the one player you would expect to make the cool veteran play under pressure is the one who gave away the penalty.
