Well, their two goals were because of players on field because of injuries to our first eleven. And well, Anichebe isn't who you start at OT anyway. And MoyLEz got his tactics wrong a bit with Chebes and unlucky with Distin getting injured in warm up.

i agree with the effort been made is a starting point for every player but when you bring on a "forward" thinking player you expect more thn just running around .....

not entirely true. Jelavic had a shot on goal which was saved and went to corner, he also should have been clear on goal, but the linesman wrongly waved for offside

yep and we did ok today.I'm not having a go at the blues.Just fed up listening to all the gush spouted by the pundits about united.They played 11 behind the ball at home despite spending millions.
Fact still remains man u win titles cos they spend more than most apart from 2 very very badly run clubs.

Why have a go at Phil Neville? Probably one of our better players on the day. What did Saint Leighton do today hey? We all know what he can do yet as usual he choked in a big game ala against Downing in the semi final. Didn't put one good ball in all game, got done countless times defensively, and just generally looked like a school boy wanting to go home. Watch Cole v Barcelona last season and you'll see why he's still playing for England. He can defend. Neville, Fellaini and Jelavic were the only ones in our team that didn't look like they were embarassed to be sharing a pitch with the Mancs. The rest just succumbed to the usual inferiority complex we get most of the itme we visit Old Trafford or Anfield.

Didn't play awful, just the better team won and defended brilliantly. Any opportunity to get the ball in the box was closed down and when we did they had bodies there to not only thwart but to pounce on any ricochet or bounce.

Naismith is exactly the same as Pienaar but actually has goals in him.
