Oh I know mate, I'm just saying I got generally slaughtered on here a week ago when I dared to suggest I wouldn't particularly mind a United win today, for the exact reasons you've just said.
 
Brennan's going to have to change the font size on that SoS rather sharpish the way things are going...

I can only think he's been stung by criticism and has thrown caution to the wind.

Maybe now we'll see Moyes playing the expansive shilky fuschball we all know he's capable of achieving.

Indeed. It's basically common sense, and my view hasn't changed at all. On the balance of things, I'd prefer a United win today. I make no apologies for saying it. The league is over, three points dropped makes very little difference, a win would help City win the title, keep Liverpool fans happy AND if we beat a very good side like United it will make our crap performance against the RS when a performance actually mattered even more annoying.

If anyone wants the above in a sig strip, I insist the whole thing goes in. Ta.
