My one positive moment of that game is getting the train up the morning after from London. As we passed Wembley, the guard piped up over the tannoy "now passing Anfield South" (as they called it at the time) to which the entire train expressed its annoyance.

He didn't come out of his little cabin the entire trip.
 

That 4-4 was one of the best games of the Premier League era and it's no wonder Sky often repeat it. It was a rare time Moyes threw off the shackles while away from home at top four club.

Those two late goals by us at Old Trafford are what many United fans I know always say cost them the title that season.

For us with a longer memory, perhaps it was a bit of belated revenge for when their 10 men sucker punched us at Wembley and cost us a treble.
