Player Valuation 10p
The truly great managers (Premiership and before) managed the players. As in, they got the best out of good/mediocre players and made the great/temperamental ones play great all the time. In that case salute the following
Shankly
Ferguson
Clough
Moyes
Robson
Kendall

Add more guys, I'm sure there are managers I've missed, especially those in the lower leagues who deserve MORE of a mention given their circumstances.

Venables was a good man manager. George Graham? Joe Royle? Not sure if they're up with the names on your list though pal. Owen Coyle when he was at Burnley as well, I live not far from their now and he had a great ability to get an extra 10%

You can't deny that whoever Mourinho has managed, the players have loved him, id add him 2 that list

Agreed with Mourinho Cena, good call. Thinking of the lower leagues then Johnny King deserves a shout for taking Tranmere from the 4th to the 2nd division.

Without any success, Dario Gradi was fabulous for Crewe Alexandra.

A roll call of players he produced from youth have featured in the Premier League. They all spoke highly of him, people like him should be involved with England. Don't think any of his players had a bad word against him

I liked Johnny, added, just thought then, Dario Gradi? Harder for these guys too, they deserve more mention really

Jock Stein was before my time but I think he deserves a mention from north of the border. O' Neill for what he did at Leicester and Celtic?

Are we ready for female managers?

I think there was a TV show on it awhile ago, but I didn't watch it.
