Van der Meyde is a very talented player but he wouldn't last 30 minutes. He missed a chunk of pre-season and bar one reserve game he hasn't played...

Osman's workrate and tracking back will also be useful on Robinho who plays on the left for City. Van der Meyde simply wouldn't track back. If he did he'd be done in 10 minutes.
