osman's playing because we're playing a really top team at home. setting up defensively instead of more attacking options like mirallas, kone and lennon.

i know he's crap, but jesus guys, you've moaned for months how we let in loads of goals, he goes a tad more defensive and you're still not happy. bunch of moaners in here - he clearly wouldn't have been playing if cleverley was fit.

But is Osman going to help the defence?

He's one of the slowest players we have so he won't help on counters and he's easily out muscled (especially up against Toure, Fernando etc.)

Usually it's 4-2-3-1 where as tonight it's 4-3-2-1.

I wouldn't of thought it would be in their intrest to give formations away, yet they've gone to the bother of changing the usual setup
