I'm talking care of oneself. Presentation, preening, trimming horrific lumps of hair as needed.

What's your approach dear GOTers? Are you a full on metrosexual? Do you eschew such preening and class yourself as a 'real man', or are you like me - a halfway house dedicated to ensuring one's nasal hair doesn't terrify small animals or children?

It's a pain in the arse, I can grow a full beard in the space of a few days. Normally I just plod through the month and at some point at least once I will go to the barbers and get a full haircut and shave, the works (really I just go for the free coffee and nice looking hairdresser)

Fellas who get their chest waxed, eyebrows pruned, manicures, botox, turkey teeth, K'off!

I get my haircut by a very flamboyant Slovak fella every couple of months. Last time out he offered to trim my eyebrows, so now I look less Eugene Levy and feel fantastic.

The rest of me is still a big, sweaty, hairy mess though.

Everything should be perfectly cleaned and shaved/trimmed depending on personal choice (in same way some have gravy with chips for example). And make an effort to smell nice!

Went into a Turkish barber once to get my head shaved, imagine my surprise when he gets the hot wax out, slams 2 blobs (not sure what the collective noun is) of wax into my ears and 2 sticks with more wax on up my nostrils. I've never felt more air tight in my life, the wax getting ripped out/off didn't provide much relief.

And also NHS budgets would be under a lot less strain if everyone in this country made more of an effort to lose weight and get fit.

Once a year there should be a visit from the fat inspectorate and if you can't fit into the same jeans you had 20yrs ago then pay a £1,000 fine to the NHS. The next year double that fine and so on..
