Transfer Rumour Malcom

I asked my next door neighbour how likely this is to happen. He said he has no idea.

FYI, my neighbour is called Malcom.

You're welcome

Can you kindly forward across the criteria for creating new threads on transfers? Basically, the point in which someone is allowed to create a dedicated thread. Thanks.

I thought unsubstantiated rumours were for the general transfer window thread.

When a rumour is proven to be accurate then and only then is it worthy of it own thread.

I must be wrong. I do sincerely apologise.

If we could pull this off it would be a terrific signing. Arsenal looked at this lad very closely in January. He scored a lot of goals last season, is of a good age and we would likely increase his value if we came to sell him.

Interestingly played most of his games on the right last season, so I'm not convinced he's a like for like for Lookman.

And who decides what is 'proven'?

Is there some sort of transfer forum committee?

I think Walcotts position will be interesting this season. I can see him playing more centrally, just off Tosun........with two very fast tricky wingers.

Tottenham and Everton have not gone beyond enquiring about Malcom and for the moment no concrete interest has been shown by either of the Premier League clubs.
Malcom is believed to be angling for a move to Inter, but the Serie A giants have not returned to the negotiating table with Bordeaux after their first offer was rejected.
The French outfit are also desperate to sell the winger, but for the moment he is not getting any closer to the exit door.

According to Sky Sports reporter Paul Gilmour, Toffees top brass will meet Bordeaux chairman Stephane Martin in a bid to finalise the move.
If Martin gives them the go-ahead, Malcom is poised to sign a five-year deal worth £80,000-a-week at Goodison Park.

So ermmmmm, barely shown an interest so far but going to finalise the deal tomorrow.

Ha. I was about to ask you the same thing:)

Basically, in the 11+ years we've been going we encourage fans to create a thread willy-nilly and allow the moderators to use their discretion merge/close threads.

Generally, when media reports are so significant...

... a dedicated thread on those reports is perfectly fine/encouraged.

One criticism of GOT for me is the tendency to have mega threads and reluctance from members, particularly new members to start a thread...

There will obviously be rotation and competition for places which is fine. Walcott could play down the middle on his own in certain games too. I see him Lookman and another winger probably sharing a lot of games.

I though Lookman played mainly on the right for us and RBL? I know he didnt during that preseason game, but Im sure he did under Ronald.
I could be wrong, but I'm sure he was on the left more. Not exclusively, but definitely more
