Maybe I’ve been picking the wrong man for 10 years to take the free-kicks
Yes David you have. We now live in a world where Tony Hibbert has found the back of the net and boy does it feel good!

Everton travel to Spain this weekend for the final game of a weird pre season where we havn't really played anyone good, and yet still don't look that good. Yet. Surely we have to start a season well one year? Surely?
So Malaga. What do we know about them? Well they are in the Champions League next season for a start. Last summer they spent BIG. On players like Santi Cazorla, Julio Baptista, Martin Demichelis, Jeremy Toulalon and Ruud Van Nistelrooy amongst others. Now, if I managed a team with new found millions, they aren't the sort of players i'd be signing. Pretty average bunch. However, they got the job done finishing 4th and will be in the Ultimate Club competition this coming season.

Wow, they sound good don't they.....oh no...they've gone all Portsmouth. They are now proper skint. Not sure why, but there's a thread in the World Football forum where you can read all about it. Cazorla has left, Isco is probably leaving, and they have a goalkeeper called Willy. Hahahahaha!! Like a penis.
Malaga itself sounds like a decent holiday. Lots of bars. Lots of easy ladies. And lots of sand. Perfect. I hope some guys from GOT have gone to this as I want to see ace pictures like this:

So Everton hey? Our team isn't likely to look much different come the Man United game. Pienaar is in, which is good, and Naismith looks alright. For me we still need a bit more. I'm not concerned about Jelavic not slotting in pre season. He scores when he needs to, and in friendlies is not it. Jagielka seems to have had a mystery injury, but played for the reserves the other day so no weird transfer out there I don't think. I have a feeling there will be more transfer activity at Everton to come though. Not sure if it's in, out or both though. God I hate transfer windows whilst loving them at the same time too.
This game obviously doesn't mean much, but it'd be nice to go into the United game on the back of a win.
David, how's the new season going to go?
I am not going to set myself up but why would we now not try to be one of the teams who are challenging for Europe?
Thanks David.
