Make Britain Great Again???!

This is a serious question. When was it? The Industrial Revolution was incredible in many ways, but at the cost of the working classes via abysmal health, safety and pay. The Empire is best forgotten due to our terrible behaviour in enslaving entire nations. We were good in the second world war but without America and Russia???
Freedom of speech is a great thing but applies to many countries. Even the most socially cohesive nations in Scandinavia and Benelux are flawed. America sees gun ownership as a right and can't bring itself to provide universal healthcare..not even civilised. Making anywhere Great Again is pure drivel because it never was in my opinion.

Britain was never Great in the terrific or admirable sense. It relates to descriptions of the size of the island rather than the quality of the country, kingdom or it's people.

The Industrial Revolution changed the world. The Empire is not best forgotten, it is best when it is understood, which you patently don’t. Your comment on WW2 is somewhat offensive to those that died. Freedom of speech applies to certain countries, a great many however do not have it. Some things were Great. The Roman Empire was one, The British Empire was another. Bad things happened but so did an awful lot of good things. The world is shaped by our past and to deny or denigrate overlooks what really happened.......otherwise we’d still be living in caves and hunting bison.....

Britain has had the greatest impact on the world in terms of size/population:influence ratio.

It should make Brits proud but, like here in Germany, there's quite a bit of self-loathing going on.
