So here we are, on the crest of a wave, an almost protest by the fans at watford, everton websites all over screaming for investment and having proof investment has been turned down by the current board room regime at goodison.

Then it all became clear, "whats that saying again?" ,obviously the board has been listening, a certain fan site has been pushing the "nil satis nisi optimum" line for some months, and "Bill wont let go of the trainset", but Bill is only after the best for Everton, the best investor has to be the richest man, step forward Bill Gates and his computer billions, after all "ONLY the best will do".

who is "us" ?

Edit: sorry welts, that might seem a bit harsh, im just wondering where you stand before i make another comment about "that" website.

Like to provide a link, suits?

that comment is aimed at toffeeweb and its agenda against moyes and kenwright, it is in their mailbag where they go to war with unsubstantiated allegations against the club and lead others into believing the same.

it is them (tw) that use the latin on our badge to make sly comments about how the club is being run.

Suits you little tease you, we were all expecting a scoop. I agree that TW is 'out to get', if they can, any one to blame for our present plight. Is it surprising considering we're only sixth in the table and about to qualify for Europe. If we'd have had billions pumped into the club, all shares sold to some foreign investors and ticket prices hiked to [Poor language removed] levels then we'd be lucky to be one place higher, but thats worth moaning about is it not(y) (y) (y)

Actually Suits I looked at NSNO this morning, they are organising protests at club actions, everyone dissatisfied with all elements at the club, bring back Walter Smith and Peter Johnson can be the only answer , what a load of tossers:blink:

Well, I personally don't have any issues with the way the club is being run at the moment

And when I said "us" I was referring to me and the other mods/admins, seeing as this is posted in the Website development forum :)

appreciate that welts, i put it in here as this is where i put 'hypothetical questions get hypothetical answers' which ended up as an article after being deemed worthy.

i made this statement because of my frustration at the hypocrisy of TW, a website that castigates the club for lack of transparency then goes and states that they know investment has been offered into everton but bill turned it down. did they reveal their source/s? did they discuss the finer or any points of the potential deal/s? did they bollocks, they are a law unto themselves.

[Poor language removed]!

this stuff?

There will be an Open Meeting for all Evertonians at the Casa Hotel, Hope Street, (opposite the Philharmonic Pub) on Saturday, March 10th, at midday (12pm) to discuss the future of Everton Football Club.

The meeting is open to all Evertonians who care about making the right decision for the long term future of our club, mindful of the impact on future generations of Evertonians.

The coming together of Evertonians to form a group based on what the fans really want regarding the impending move out of the City of Liverpool to a site in Kirkby.

The aim is to explore and ask for other ways to keep Our Club in the City. It is no use arguing against the Club's proposed move if we are unable to offer a viable alternative. If every avenue to keep Everton in the City of Liverpool is not explored then the fear is that a move out to Knowsley could prove devastating in the years ahead.

Council members and local MP's have been invited, and the invitation extends to any Evertonian who wants to keep the Club within the city limits. Everyone is invited to come along and put forward their input and for ideas to be discussed.

So, if you want to see the future of Everton safeguarded for your children and future generations, take heed from Rocky, and stand up and have your say - the vote promised to us at the AGM can't be far off now, let's find some real alternatives to the proposed move out of our City.

It is Our City, Our Club, Our Future.

I made a thread on the TW forum about redeveloping goodison, i still believe its possible, but there are many hurdles to overcome, currently there is a standoff between the club and the council, i can see both aspects, the council cant be seen to be giving in and part financing everton, and the club cant be seen to be happy at being mistreated by the council when LCC seem to bend over backwards to help the murdering scum over the way.

maybe we could set up a bare knuckle event between BK and the season ticket holding leader of LCC and whoever wins gets their way, because at the moment its all posturing and soundbites, which in effect means bollocks all.
