Magaye Gueye?

I like him.

Peanuts was knackered against Newcastle and I thought we needed him to come on and run around really fast.
 
Once in a while he looks really good, other times he looks very average. He probably needs a run of games and he's not going to get that with us at the moment.
 

Got a good cross on him, don't think Moyes sees him as a world beater though tbh, struggles to take on a man and turns back quite alot of the time. Two good goals he has scored against Sunderland and Orient, hopefully there is more to come from Magaye
 
Every youngster who comes through with us is given a lot of support by our fans, at least for the first few years (Anichebe seems to have outstayed his welcome in that regard). But for some reason people have been very willing to write Gueye off.

I actually agree with those who don't think he'll make it with us long term, but there's a strange disparity between the fans' attitude to him and Vellios for example - who I don't think will make it with us either. Off the top of my head I think Magaye's got two goals and two assists for us in what can't be more than 6 or 7 games, accumulatively. Why's he treated with such cynicism?

he can run really fast? every time i've seen him run he looks like he's running underwater
