Since our message board has become almost unbearable with the amount of moaning about everything and anything, and while I expect a tough season some of the stuff on there is getting beyond a joke . I thought I'd start our own thread here. Hope this is okay and we have 2 young Everton lads on the books.

After all it's like a little piece of Wearside has moved here over the last few months.

Anyway our relegation campaign, sorry promotion campaign starts tomorrow night live on sky v derby. Not expecting much and will be happy with a point. In truth I'm in the pub from 4.30 so will be...

Welcome mate and congrats on your promotion back to the PL. Oh young Bradley Lowery. Still feel tears welling up in my eyes when thinking about that brave little fighter. Was priviliged to be at the Everton v City game when he was one of the match day mascots. He'll always be a hero to me. A very special little kid/hero.

Yeah, during the COVID years we were teaching online via Teams and he had a Sunderland badge as he icon - I had to ask, he said he was amazed by the passion and level of endurance their fans showed. I didn't think it was worth mentioning our own special brand of abusive, self loathing, mutually contempt support.

In fairness, I did get one of his classmates to stop following the RS.
