For what it's worth, I don't think he played that well at all. Made a good save, but every time the ball came to his feet he looked nervous as hell and kept spooning it straight to one of their midfielders. There was a really weird moment when a ball was played over the top, nowhere near any of their players that Keane had mopped up, and next minute this fella appears for no reason rushing out of his box and boots it out for a throw in. Led to a half chance which could have easily been the equaliser.

I'm nit-picky with keepers, but this fella I just do not rate in the slightest. Can't be our "cup keeper" if we're serious about winning something.

I think your just being a tad overly critical, of a first competitive run out. A scruffy win with a Clean sheet will be the only memory of this game.

If he wants a cup keeper make that Pickford, we need to go all out to try and win one and we wont with Stek in goal, even if he did make a good save last night against a poor side with little possession

I thought Howard made a few good saves in his time? He just lacked many other attributes needed to be a top keeper
