Well then this sounds something I may give a whirl

I can't be doing with Spotify, 1 because of the adverts and 2 because I want it all on my iPod. Seems pointless paying to not have adverts and then paying for the songs to then go on the iPod. Hence normally youtube is my friend until I buy it. This sounds good

I just had a look at it.

I mean, no ads is ace.


But... I had to try about 3-4 bands before I got a hit. And the one I got a hit with was Bob Marley and the Wailers!

So it's probably not for us folk who like unpopular bands!

It's certainly promising, like.

It's just that personally I only use spotify as a means of sampling tracks from new bands/albums. And if it doesn't have most of these bands/albums on, then it's a bit useless.

But I'd love to know how he gets it to be ad-free. Remarkable, that is.
 
Yeah have seen him tweet you lcab bab-eh! He gave me £10 credit the other week for plugging it on Twitter and Facebook, absolute legend!

And yeah Rufus there's over 5 million tracks and counting at the moment. Like lcab said its still a relatively new service and they're expanding the catalogue all the time. All the bands I've wanted (aside from The Beatles) have been on there but I know your taste is probably a bit more obscure than mine :P

But I'll keep my eye (or ear) on this. The actual framework is exceptional, and being able to listen in your browser is uber-convenient.
