Lundstram - Under 19's

The horrible thing in Greece is that the rich people are still rich, its the working class that have suffered. Saying that I would have loved to be a civil servant there for the past twenty years.

Very true, except it is not countries that bribe refs, it is betting syndicates and mafia. Checkout the match fixing scandals in Italy Greece and Turkey the last 2 years! England didn't bribe the ref today, but if someone did - I would look east. rcard

Hes gone quiet... must be out rioting.

Again, that is only the commies and anarchists. They were born from Greece's wish-washy desire to be politically correct 24/7 and not arrest or criticise people who are clearly barking mad!
At least there is no chance of that ever happening here! Oh wait... we co-invented political correctness with the USA! Also our riots here last summer were pretty hardcore even by greek standards!

This whole thread has been an education in hypocrisy.

Thought Lundstram was a class act in the first half. Great eye for a pass and pivotal with midfield play. Cant wait to see him in the first team with hopefully Barkley

Everyone is a hypocrite... me, you, everyone!

Great performances from Barkley and Lundstram yesterday. Lundstram dropped off in the second half but that was due to tiredness since he played 90 minutes against France, I loved his long ball in the first half was delightful to watch. Barkley was by far the best player for England and on the pitch as well, pulled off a couple of tricks and some good passes and at times had two or three players around him. Both of them kept the ball well and linked up well, Lundstram gave it away far more than the game against France and Barkley dropped off in extra time and gave the ball away a few times.

I will a match comp on both of their performances sometime this weekend. ;)

I love Barkley so much. This thread is bringing back bad memories of me screaming at Moyes for starting Neville/McFadden etc over him. I even got Barkley on the back of my shirt last year :(.

Agree with this mate. Was a spell in the game where Barkley reminded me of why we all have such high hopes for him. To be honest, I was beginning to forget about it and worry that he had gone backwards, but not anymore, faith restored!

Look forward to seeing a compilation of the footage mate, nice one!

Another good display from Lundstram for England and he looks promising. I have been impressed by him in the couple of games I've seen him and hope he does well in the future.
