He was playing the likes of Barkley out of position all season, yet when it comes down to it he didn't go through with the out of position idea he personally suggested.

Those final few games of the season was the ideal time to try it. Dead rubbers for us yet we played teams with something on the line. Therefore any new system ideas would of be tested at Premier League level as opposed to waiting to do it in some jarg friendlies where you can't realistically gauge if it would work during the season or not.

Opportunity missed.
