Here's a weird thought, He didn't want to sign a contract
Should have been sorted well before now.
Another weird thought is if your going to develop him and think he is going to be a player for the future make him feel wanted and offer him a contract well before his is due to run out and the vultures have already circled.

Are you a bit simple?

What if the player doesn't want to be at the club? Mental thought like

Like i said the contract should have been put to him last year and would have tied him up for the next 4 years or so.
No need to get personel it makes u look like a mug.
Keep it respectful eh

You know for a fact a contract wasn't on the table 12 month ago then?

The kids a good prospect but if he doesn't want to sign, that's his decision. If I was 3rd choice at 22 yrs old, I'd want first team football as well. He has potential, he needs to play to fulfill it, he won't get that here if Baines is fit.

If he is just being a nob, then get to fook ya lil shizer.

Had a stupidly good contract on the table for a while and chose not to sign it. In a bit.

Maybe it's not about the money for him and he actually wants more chances of getting a regular game?! You can't fault him if that's the case.

He's gone mate. If you love him, you'd let him go.

Its the reason why? if he offered a pittance, and oldies are on more??? yes human nature into days game you or I would go as loyalty does not exist into days game - what disappoints me is RM banging on about youth players, and playing hasbeens like Barry who will become the new Phil Neville, two more years of plodding around our midfield never subbed it rings a bell we have been there before - I expected RM to play a younger team our squad if full off ageing crocked eight players who no one wants!
Stones - Barkley have been used - two defensive mid fielders when we only need one in Barry and McCarthy?
We lack a play maker along side Ross Barkley, and two fast wingers, and better cover at left back if Garbutt goes which looks very likely!

He has mate.
I think its a shame we have developed him and he has made the england under 21's.
I think we should have sorted his future last year and made him feel wanted.
He may turn out to be another gosling or to be a top player its just a shame we let it get to this situation.

It happens. We've lost better players than Garbutt and trucked on. Galloway looks exciting and I'm far more concerned about Stones and McCarthy staying than some young lad who looks no closer to being able to displace Baines on a regular basis.

He is only young i know that and if he wants out for footballing reasons fairplay to him.
My gripe is us being in this position of not getting a fee worthwhile of his potential and the way the club have messed about with the contract.

If / when he goes and summising Oviedo won't be the player he was,I'd be in for that Andrew Robertson from Hull.
May have been mentioned but haven't read the thread.

Robertson is good going forward but poor when he has to defend.
If oviedo gets fit and has some luck with injuries he will be a good player
